Working Bee 8 June 2019

A beautiful slightly crispy cool morning saw twenty three keen volunteers come out to do some preparation in areas we will be planting in next month. One group went over the plantings from last year to check, weed around, remove guards or re-guard.  The other group did some grunt work and made some space for planting next month at the far eastern end of undertow bay in the scrubland and gullies.

CPPRA had previously engaged Envirogain in this area to cut and paint woody weeds mainly mirror bush (Coprosma repens) which we needed to move and stack to make room for plantings.
