Twenty enthusiastic volunteers planted 490 tubestock in the Undertow Bay foreshore reserve near Pea Creek. Lesley gave us a tubestock planting demonstration aimed at improving the consistency of our method and increasing plant survival rate.

The planting was difficult in some spots due to the steep slopes but the sunny weather conditions were perfect for planting and we managed to get the last one in as the lunch gong sounded. Well done everyone and we hope to see you again at the August working bee when we will be planting a similar number of tubestock.
