Tent Town ProjectTent Town Project UpdateThe Tent Town Project is progressing well, despite the wet weather in June delaying the construction of tracks and fences The pairs of images below show the site at end-May (left) - after broadacre weed spraying - and then again at end-Jun (right) ... after some very wet weather. The weed spraying was an essential prerequisite to the upcoming planting and direct seeding of the site, which will take place over the coming months.

and will be a Clean Up Australia day event. Meet at the park above the boat ramp for a 10.30 briefing. The clean up will be followed by a BBQ lunch.

Hot, dry weather. High temperatures and low rainfall. Female Common Brown butterflies are flying.
Bowat (tussock-grass) is long and dry.
The Southern Cross is high in the south at sunrise.
