CPRRA Operational Plan 2019 - can you help?

The CPRRA recently developed a Strategic Plan for the next 5 years, which sets out our vision and mission. We have also created an Operational Plan 2019, which details what we hope to achieve this year.

Four goals, or portfolios, were created in response to the questionnaire sent to members. These are

1. Maintain, enhance and protect the natural environment

2. Preserve the character of Cape Paterson through appropriate planning

3. Advocate for infrastructure developments that enhance the liveability of Cape Paterson

4. Identify and advocate for the social, health and wellbeing needs of the community.

The Committee is inviting all members to be part of this process - through the position of portfolio holders.

Each portfolio needs at least one person to oversee the work contained in it.

We understand that, as volunteers, we all have limited time and so welcome the possibility of people sharing each position. Both Plans are available on the website; the functions of the portfolio holder are

· Act as a CPRRA spokesperson on the issues relating to the goal

· Establish an ongoing communication link with government departments and other organizations

· Monitor developments relating to the goal

· Identify potential funding opportunities

· Advise the committee on developments and/or issues relating to the portfolio

· Ensure that relevant issues are brought to the attention of the Association committee at meetings

We are hoping to have all positions filled by the end of February and are keen to have as much member participation as possible.

For more information please phone Greg Carman on 0401 246 911.
