Iuk Eel Season [Mar]

Hot winds cease and temperatures cool.  Iuk (eels) are fat and ready to harvest.

Binap (Manna Gum) is flowering.

Days and nights are of equal length.

Lo-An Tuka, the Hunter, is the star Canopus, seen almost due south at sunset.

Working Bee 12 Nov 2016

Nov2016workingbee1The predicted bad weather held off (mostly) for our last working bee for the year.

This was spurge removal between 2nd Surf and Wilsons Rd. Mostly tiny spurges, and it was impressive to see how effective the “Purge the Spurge” program has been.

Membership is open to any person who supports the purposes of the Association is eligible for membership, provided they are:
a) a resident of Cape Paterson; or,
b) a ratepayer of the Bass Coast Shire owning property in Cape Paterson; or,.
c) support the purpose of the Association.
