Have your say - Future Development North of Cape Paterson

110512 CPboundariesResidents have received a letter infoming that a development proposal has been received by Council for the land north of Seaward Drive and inviting them to register their interest in being 'consulted' about it, including a meeting with the developer and Council 10:30am to 12:30pm at CP Community Hall on Sat 21-January 2012.

From: Bass Coast Shire Council

10 January 2012

Dear Property Owner

I am writing to invite you to have input in the future growth of Cape Paterson.

Council has received an approach to develop land north of Seaward Drive in Cape Pacerson.

Before we start an evaluation process we need to decide how the proposal should be evaluated. There are number of things that need to be considered hefore this happens, including what is important to the Cape Pacerson community.

We would like to know your Views about the proposal.

This project responds to the Cape Paterson strategic framework that you may be familiar with. This framework sets out the plans for growth for the next 30 years and has eStablished a settlement boundary to the north of Seaward Drive.

It's easy to be involved in this engagement and have your say about the fucure growth of Cape Paterson into this area. Simply register (after 16 January 2012) on the Bass Coast Shire Council engagement website at or Bass Coast Shire Council website home page and click on "Have Your Say".

Following registration you will be asked to complete a survey. There will also be further background material at the website.

In addition the developers will be available with Council staff to meet and discuss their proposal at the Cape Paterson Community Hall on Saturday 21 January 2012 between 10.30am - 12.30pm.

If you are unable to access the internet to provide feedback or need any other assistance with providing your input, please contact Stacey Skilton on 5671 2752.

Yours sincerely
Jeff Nottle
