Support Strategic Planning in Bass Coast
The Mayor has asked that if you are concerned about how the Minister for Planning recent decisions impact on other areas of Bass Coast, then please make your feelings known. Read the Council press release by clicking here. Learn what the Mayor asks you to do by clicking on 'Read more' below Message from the Mayor The Planning Minister, Matthew Guy, has advised that he will rezone 23 ha of farm land in Ventnor. The land sits outside the town boundaries set by the Cowes Ventnor Silverleaves Structure Plan adopted by Council in 2008. The community did not support extending the town boundaries to include this land. Amendment C93 is currently with the Minister and sets the town boundaries for ten of our coastal communities. If you believe local planning decisions need local input, let the Government know that you want Amendment C93 adopted without change and the current decision about the Ventnor land reviewed.
