Update on C136 Northern Development March 2020

Submissions to Council have now closed for this proposed Planning Scheme Amendment. We believe there were close to 200 submissions lodged including many well-reasoned, strategic objections to this massive rezoning proposal. You can read the CPRRA Submission here.

Next steps: The submissions will be collated and a report will be presented to Council. They have previously requested a Planning Panel be appointed to consider submissions and tentative dates for this are in August 2020. We are still fundraising to have legal representation at the panel hearing (see below for how to donate).

HOW TO DONATE: Either by bank transfer, identifying yourself in the “Remitter” field to: BSB: 633 000 A/C No: 1309 56113 Remitter: your “surname-initials” Or, by cheque payable to “Cape Paterson Residents & Ratepayers Association”, and posted to: The Secretary, Cape Paterson Residents & Ratepayers Association, PO Box 280 Wonthaggi VIC 3995

We’d prefer a surname with the bank transfer so we can acknowledge donations but it is not essential if you’d rather it was anonymous.
